The Chin/Dip assist is a revolutionary piece of equipment in that it allows even the least physically strong individuals to perform bar pull-ups in their many variations and parallel bar push-ups thanks to an ingenious system that reduces the amount of body weight load. It is equipped with a convenient access ladder to the large, safe platform, the smoothness of which is ensured by ball bearings.
With this machine it is possible to train the big back with its synergic muscles without being Superman, just select the right load to enable you to perform the bar tractions with commitment and complete the exercise.
By selecting the load, you get the help you want, as the body weight tends to get lighter: the starting position is from the kneeling position. Subjects with shortening of the great dorsal and pectoral muscles (carriers of kypholordosis) must work on Chinning by adjusting the R.O.M. and the postural posture (head in double chin, moderate retroversion of the pelvis, shoulders down, inhalation in the active phase, exhalation after completion of the return phase, start of the traction with the elbows in slight flexion, to avoid an increase in lumbar lordosis (adjust the R.O.M. appropriately), stop the traction at the point where the shoulders are internalised and cervical lordosis and dorsal kyphosis increase.
In these cases, an uncontrolled or excessive stretch effect in the return phase should be avoided in order not to involve the shortening action of the neuromuscular spindles, (further adjustment of the R.O.M.). This machine also made bar pulls and parallel bars push-ups comfortable for women and boys of pubertal age by virtue of the possible load balancing.
With regard to the parallel bar push-ups, this exercise is contraindicated in cases of rigid kypholordosis as it may accentuate the already exaggerated curves of the spine. In cases of curved back due to hypotonos of the lower trapezius muscle, the exercise consists of the complete extension of the arms with the torso erect with the head in double chin and active retroversion of the pelvis (the starting position from kneeling further accentuates all the curves of the spine, it must therefore be neutralised). The return phase ends when arm and forearm are at approximately 70°. This strengthens the low trapezius, which could reduce the kyphotic component. Of course, even in these cases, the adoption of ROM is indispensable for the customisation of training.
The Teca’s modular line concept is evident in this machine, which is smaller in size than its peers.
A machine of unquestionable usefulness and simple function cannot be missing in any gymnasium worthy of the name. The machine is equipped with a stand with a base that provides access to the functions. The base for supporting the knees is of modern ergonomic design; the R.O.M. is positioned on the right side. The handles of the parallel bars and the Chin are covered with special material to allow a better grip for the hands and make training more comfortable.
Control movement to prevent injury and aid recovery. Even at the gym.
