Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit tecafitness.com, fill in one of its forms or contact us. Cookies and similar technologies are covered by the Cookie Policy.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Fisico s.r.l., registered office at Via Vestina 346, 65015 Montesilvano (PE), Italy, tax and VAT number 02177820681 (“TECA” or “the Controller”).

2. What data we process, why and on what legal basis

For the use of data on our social profiles, please see the platforms’ own notices: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google and YouTube.

3. Whether providing data is mandatory

Providing data is optional, but the fields marked as required in the forms are needed to be able to reply to you: without them we cannot follow up on your request. Consent to the newsletter and to optional cookies is freely given, and refusing it does not prevent you from using the site.

4. Who we share data with

Data is processed by TECA’s authorised staff and by suppliers acting as data processors, within the limits needed for the purposes above:

• suppliers of the site’s infrastructure and security (for example Cloudflare, which hosts the site, protects the forms from automated submissions and stores the record of cookie choices);
• suppliers of the tools that receive and manage requests (for example Make, to forward requests to our email and contact management systems);
• Google Tag Manager and the connected measurement and marketing tools (for example Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta), only if you have given consent;
• professionals and advisers (tax, legal, marketing) and public bodies entitled to receive them by law.

We do not sell personal data. Data published on social networks is available to the platforms, which decide how it is used and for what purposes according to their own notices.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some suppliers (for example infrastructure, measurement and marketing providers) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer takes place only with the safeguards required by the GDPR (European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

6. How long we keep data

• Requests and contacts: for as long as needed to reply and to manage any resulting relationship, and then for the limitation periods set by law;
• Data giving rise to tax-relevant transactions: ten years;
• Newsletter and commercial communications: until you withdraw consent;
• Job applications: for as long as needed for the selection;
• Cookies and connected tools: for the periods stated in the Cookie Policy;
• Record of cookie choices: for as long as needed to prove consent;
• Technical browsing data: for as long as strictly necessary for the security of the site.

7. Your rights

At any time you can exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR by writing to info@tecafitness.com:

• obtain confirmation of whether your data is being processed and access it (right of access);
• correct or update your data (right to rectification);
• ask for erasure or restriction of processing, in the cases provided for (right to erasure and to restriction);
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (right to object);
• receive your data in electronic format and transmit it to another controller (right to data portability);
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
• lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Joint controllership with Sportrend s.s.d.

TECA and Sportrend s.s.d. (Via Vestina 346, 65015 Montesilvano (PE), tax and VAT number 02092880687, info@welcomefitness.it) are joint controllers under Article 26 GDPR for images collected at trade fairs and events, for data handled through their respective websites (tecafitness.com and welcomefitness.it) and for data on social media channels. By an internal agreement they have established that:

• Fisico s.r.l. is directly responsible for the compliance of processing carried out through the tecafitness.com site and of the images it collects at fairs and events; Sportrend s.s.d. for that carried out through its own site and its own filming; both for social media data;
• information to data subjects is provided by the controller the data subject contacts, and the contact points are those of each controller;
• you can exercise your rights against each controller.

9. Changes

We may update this notice, for example because of legal changes or new tools used by the site. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
