Building a strong body with Stand Up training is the key for a longer, healthier life

To live better and longer, have optimal physical fitness or improve performance in everyday life or in sport, it is necessary to build a strong physique. The latest scientific evidence shows that only a strong physique allows one to perform daily activities with vigour and aliveness, without excessive fatigue and with plenty of energy left over for leisure activities or to respond to unexpected physical stresses.

To achieve all these goals, the entire body must be trained with fundamental and functional movements. Fundamental and functional movements are inborn in the human genetic code, they must ensure survival and improvement of one’s abilities.

Evolution has been brought to a halt by industrialisation and technological development. Man became less active. At the same time, the manner of physical activity has been influenced by bodybuilding, an aesthetic model that has been in vogue for decades, reachable through training individual muscles.

But training individual muscles implies analytical, guided and stereotyped movements, so basic motor patterns are lost. Movement is isolated, no longer in a kinetic chain, and does not allow for multi-articular, proprioceptive gestures in all planes of movement.

Isolated strength training builds strong muscles but cannot build a strong physique. To develop a strong body, one must train the human body as a whole, as a system, not as individual, disconnected muscles. Global strength training challenges the entire physiology of human movement, a mix of nervous, muscular and skeletal components working in harmony to achieve the best results.

Therefore, the most effective training for a strong physique is full body training with kinetic chain movements, and the most natural way to do this is in an standing position.

In order to meet the health and longevity needs of the general public in a targeted manner, Teca has taken on board the recommendations of science and the new requests of the market, expanding its research over the past two decades from the individual muscle to the human body as a whole.

Thus was born the first global strength machine that trains the entire body with functional and multi-joint exercises, in the kinetic chain and in a standing position.
